Make 2021 a year you’re excited to wake up to.
As we close out a year I’m confident NO ONE wants a repeat of, it’s time to lay the groundwork to envision a new year.
A year focused on the outcomes we’d like to create.
A year fueled by the experiences we’d like to have.
A year filled with the successes we’d like to enjoy. For many years, I’ve set time aside at the end of each year to do exactly that by purposefully reviewing:
- What went well?
- What didn’t work so well?
- What achievements can I celebrate?
- And to then set thoughtful intentions for the New Year with conviction.
I think we can all agree this year is one for the books with many facing COVID burn-out and new challenges brought on by the global health pandemic.
During uncertain times it can feel difficult to plan ahead but we can still visualize the success we’d like to achieve in a way that also gives us the space to shift focus, change direction and stake a claim for what we truly want.
So if you’re feeling called to envision what this New Year might look like for you amidst uncertainty, I invite you to put aside a full day with me – Friday, December 4th – to do just that.

Here’s how to prepare for the day:
Come dressed in something comfy, ready to relax into your most natural state of being, and ready to get deep about the work you’re here to do.
Think of the best, comfiest spot in your house, away from your daily tasks, and definitely somewhere where you can’t see a sink full of dishes or a pile of papers that need filing. Find somewhere where you can think big, think expansively, and set your sights on dreams bigger than your living room.
Find a place where your dreams can take flight about where you want to go next. I like to choose somewhere in my home where I don’t do my day-to-day work to tap into a different state-of-mind – this room brings me joy right now, you’ll find me here:
Be sure to pour yourself that coffee or tea, grab your favourite journal, make sure your dog is fed, and get ready to get un-busy. Visioning 2021 is a day for you to reflect on past successes and dream big about the year ahead.
